When the thermometer drops and the wind takes on an icy edge, you know cowl season has arrived! It’s time to accessorize our indoor/outdoor looks with something special. The Snow Cone cowl is just the ticket. The extra generous lower edge falls beautifully around the shoulders and then gradually tapers upward to a slightly slouchy neckline. It’s perfect for wearing all day indoors, and then tucking into your coat when you head outside.

This stranded cowl, knit in the round, is a fun knit for all levels of knitters. Using only two colors, the Snow Cone cowl is a great introduction to stranded knitting for the adventurous beginner. And, for those who believe in coloring outside the lines, there are no limits to the possibilities for adding colors!

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: One Size, Approx 45”/114 cm bottom circumference tapering to 30.5”/77.5 cm top circumference 22” / 52.5 cm tall

YARN: Approx 350 yds of worsted weight yarn MC and 350 yds CC

GAUGE: 17 sts and x 20 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles, after blocking.
