We love working with independent designers to showcase their work and provide amazing patterns for our customers! If you are a designer interested in working with Plucky Knitter yarns, we would be happy to hear from you! Please reach out to brandy@thepluckyknitter.com.
When reaching out, please provide a sketch and description of the design you are working on, along with a swatch of any special stitches, if possible. We will review your proposal and if we feel this is a good match for our customers, we will then move forward with choosing the base(s) and colors for your sample.
Once we have selected the yarn and sent it off to you, the designer, we can work out a discount code for any test knitters who would like to use the same yarn.
We also ask that designers provide any pattern information along with final FO images two weeks or more, in advance of the pattern release to allow time for creating kits, our newsletter and social media for cross-promotion of the new design.
