Legacy DK — Bouncy & Beautifully Woolly

100% Shaniko Non-Superwash Wool

Made from American-grown Shaniko wool, Legacy DK has a wonderful natural bounce, excellent stitch definition, and just the right amount of woolly character. Its structure makes the cables stand out beautifully, while the lace softens the fabric with a delicate halo. A lovely choice for a classic, heritage-inspired cowl with a little extra warmth and texture.

Bello DK — Sumptuous & Cashmere Soft

55% Superwash Merino, 45% Cashmere

Our custom-milled blend of merino and cashmere is all about softness. Smooth, luxurious, and beautifully drapey, Bello gives Grainline a more relaxed, elegant feel. The cashmere adds a gentle halo of its own, while the lace creates even more softness and dimension. Perfect for a cowl that feels especially indulgent against the skin.

Plume Lace — Buttery Soft & Silky

Baby Suri Alpaca & Silk

Plume's silky, flowing halo beautifully softens Legacy's woolly structure or complements Bello's luxurious cashmere. The result is a soft, gently hazy fabric with lovely drape. Our favorite for those who prioritize buttery softness and prefer an alternative to mohair.

Aura Lace — Light & Wispy

Kid Mohair & Silk

Aura creates a fine, airy halo that gives Legacy's defined cables a softer, slightly vintage appearance. Paired with Bello, it adds a beautiful contrast of fluffy mohair and smooth cashmere. Aura has a little more texture against the skin than Plume but is wonderfully light and warm.

Pippi Lace — Cloud-Soft & Cozy

Brushed Extra Fine Merino

Pippi adds a plush, pillowy softness to either DK base. With Legacy, it creates a cozy, woolly fabric with a fuller halo. With Bello, the brushed merino complements the cashmere for an especially soft, cushioned feel. A lovely choice for those who prefer to avoid mohair and alpaca.
