Warm, lightweight, and wonderfully soft, our 100% yak Yakkity DK is something special. Woolen-spun with a beautiful natural halo, yak is warmer than wool without feeling heavy. Its slightly rustic appearance and lovely stitch definition make it a natural fit for Grainline's classic cables and ribbing.

Paired with a lace weight yarn, Yakkity takes on an even softer, more luxurious character. The lace adds a gentle haze and dimension while allowing the beautiful cable details to shine through.

Baby Suri Alpaca & Silk

Our softest, silkiest lace option. Plume adds a flowing halo and beautiful drape to Yakkity's lightweight warmth. The combination feels wonderfully luxurious against the skin, with a soft, hazy finish that still lets the cables peek through. Especially lovely for those who find mohair a little prickly.

Aura Lace — Airy & Wispy

Kid Mohair & Silk

Aura adds a delicate, fluffy halo to Yakkity's natural texture. The result is an exceptionally warm yet lightweight fabric with a classic, fuzzy mohair finish. Aura has a little more texture against the skin than Plume, making it a great choice for those who love mohair's airy character or prefer to avoid alpaca.

Pippi Lace — Plush & Cozy

Brushed Extra Fine Merino

Pippi brings a soft, pillowy halo to Yakkity, creating a slightly fuller, cozier fabric without sacrificing its lightweight feel. A wonderful pairing for those who prefer the softness of merino and want to avoid both mohair and alpaca.
