Nick's decade-long journey with The Plucky Knitter began as a dyer's assistant, primarily rinsing skeins. He quickly progressed to dyeing yarn and has truly honed his skills over the years. Not only does he have extensive expertise in the industry, but most notably, a deep passion for the art of dyeing.

For Nick, selecting fibers and dyeing yarn is a labor of love. As the new owner and an experienced artisan, he is committed to continuing Plucky’s legacy of excellent craftsmanship while bringing fresh ideas and renewed energy through hands-on leadership.

Nick will continue in his role as Head Dyer and Operations Manager, guiding the production process with the same care that produces the rich tonals and variegated colorways you know and love. He is equally committed to maintaining Plucky’s attentive customer service and nurturing our partnerships with local yarn shops across the country.
