Who knew that buying household staples like dishcloths could be so much fun and whimsical?! I discovered these and couldn’t settle on just one. And not only are they really cute and decorative, they also work really well.

With a quick perusal of pinterest/IG/food blogs, there is no end to pointers on building the perfect cheese and charcuterie board. We all know that texture and color are some of the fundamentals of knitting, but they are just as important in food! Below are a few pics of what we enjoyed at dinner at Elmer T’s last weekend.

Italian breadsticks and cheese straws
Cornichons, kalamata olives and fig and rosemary crisps. The crisps are delicious with extra sharp cheddar and Stonewall Kitchen Maple Apple Onion jam.
Extra sharp cheddar, blue cheese, Marcona almonds, raspberries, grapes, dried apricots, dried figs, pears, spiced pecans, brie and assorted meats.
Yum!!
Happy weekending!
