You really know how to make a girl blush. All I can say is – Thank you! Thank you! What a great response to the club! I am truly over the moon. Hope you are as excited about it as I am. There are just a few spots left……

On another note – have you tried these? Wow. Yep….. my new best friend today. Ok. I’m going back to bed now.

Read with Me,
Watch with Me,
Dream with Me,
Knit with Me.
Plucky Classics – a yarn club.
Every three months will be based on a different classic movie, author or book….Which classics? I’ll reveal the classic before each three month cycle. The first cycle will be Jane Austen. You know how I love Jane. And these will not be any of the colorways I’ve had available in my store. These are brand new, for club members only. I also plan to have exclusive patterns available and other fun things. Stay tuned!
The first five members that sign up for a three month membership will receive a Plucky Classics T-Shirt or a Plucky Classics Tote Bag. I will contact you to let you know if you were one of the first five members and you will be give your choice of sizes for the T-shirt or a tote bag.
So, tell me – how do I sign up?
Subscription sign-up’s will begin tomorrow, March 25th at 6:00 p.m. EST and will be kept open until Friday, March 28 at 9:00 p.m. EST. For this first round there will be 50 spots available. 20 one-month subscriptions and 30 three-month subscriptions.
The following subscriptions are available:
-
3 months – United States $85
-
1 month United States – $30
-
3 months International – $100
-
1 month International – $40
-
3 months Canadian – $90
-
1 month Canadian – $35
When will my yarn ship? And how do I pay for it?
Payment will be due on the 20th of every month (this will pay for the next months yarn). For example – If you sign up tomorrow for a one month subscription, payment of $30 will be due at that time and your yarn will ship on April 25th. If you sign up for the three month subscription tomorrow, payment of $80 will be due and your first shipment will be April 25th. Please remember that your subscription will automatically renew every month or every three months (depending on the subscription you chose) unless you cancel ahead of time.
I know there will be questions, lots of questions. So, please ask away.
***Edited to add***
Krysten asks a very good question: Which base yarn will I use?
For this round I will be using my 80/10/10 Merino, Cashmere, Nylon blend. It’s delicious.

Words to live by, don’t you think?
March 21, second day of Spring…. Under winter storm warning until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. The bench on our patio was bare this morning.

This does not sit well with the humans or the canine.

On a much, much brighter note: The.Best.Cookie. It was all I could do to stop eating and snap a picture. Mr. Plucky and I went to Whole Foods and I snagged a macaroon, sadly, just one, as I was so not planning on falling in love. Went to the Whole Foods website and, sadly, there is no recipe available. Does anyone? Anyone? Have or know of a recipe for something similar?

Chocolate Chip Macaroon from Whole Foods
Oh yeah, I was giving away yarn to the person who left the 2000th comment, wasn’t I? Curious? Becky - Congratulations! Please contact me and I will make arrangements to send you your prize.

- Pattern: Another Top Down and I’ve mixed it up a bit. Put the sleeve stitches on waste yarn and decide what to do with them once the body is finished.
- Yarn: BSA Skinny Cotton – Mallard
