Miscellany ~

- Because, sometimes, you just can knit ‘em all and, Beth made me do it!

- Cowl neck from Gap. I don’t think this could be any more adorable. Can’t you just see it thrown over a long sleeve tee?

- Beth and Bob – Lake Mendota this past Saturday night.

- Playing ball….Bob and Lil’ A

- Even I got in on the action.
Sneak contest…. if you can riddle me this? Who said:
“Giv me a visky, gingerale on the side. And, don’t be stingy baby.”
I’ll take entries until tomorrow evening. Thanks for playing along. And, super big thank you to everyone for making yesterday’s shop update so fun!

That line was spoken by Greta Garbo in the role of Anna Christie in the movie by the same name.

Last night’s update was CRAZY! As fast as I could refresh my computer, I’d have to buy it. If I took the time to think twice about it (or listen to my husband’s voice in my head) it was gone!
And I have no idea on the quote… so I’ll just guess Charlie Brown. So wrong, I know…. but at least I’m playing.

I guess I didn’t check my bloglines at the right time and missed out on your listings…but that is ok because I bought the most beautiful skein at Stitch N Pitch tonight. You are a color genius!

Definitely Greta Garbo, as Anna Christie in Anna Christie!

It was Greta Garbo as Anna in Anna Christie!

Greta Garbo. I never really cared for her all that much, especially after she starred in “talkies”. I liked Bette Davis better . . .

Lovin’ that cowl – it seems easy enough to figure out for knitting too… so chic!
August 8th, 2008 at 6:10 pm
