This has been done forever and I kept forgetting to take pictures. How I love the cowl (as if that comes as a shock to anyone).
- Pattern: Nova’s Cowl - This is such a great pattern – will certainly be making more.
- Yarn: Plucky Knitter Merino Single Ply (yarn held double).
- Colorway: She’s Got Moxie
- Needles: Size 9

One single down, another in the process – then on to my first plying. I feel a handspun cowl coming on…… What I wouldn’t give for an entire day of spinning. Had read many places that it was relaxing, but really, I had no idea how much so. My first attempts at spinning were, as expected, very lumpy, bumpy and crazy (which totally has its place), but I was going for something with a more finished look. I’m getting there, slowly but surely. Baby steps, right?

After I bought my yarn last night…I just kept thinking about it! I know I’ll just want to hold it and hug it! YUM
That meant that when I went to bed last night thinking about my yarn, I dreamt that you were retiring! I was so sad in my dream because that would mean I couldn’t get more of your beautiful hand-dyed. Good thing it was just a dream!
