Shocking, I know ~

Imagine. Going to a fiber arts retreat and actually buying **gasp** yarn!

Mmmmmmm. Manos Silk Blend. Mmmmmmmmm.

Karabella Soft Tweed. Intended use: Another one of Ruth’s snazzy top down sweaters – but as a fly-away cardi instead. Stay tuned.

Cascade 220 – I have no idea. It was pretty.
Lest you think I am completely singled minded and I only have eyese for blue:

Louisa Harding Nautical Cotton in a snazzy grassy green

Thinking ahead to next winter (Crazy aren’t I?). Some Cascade Eco Wool.
And then, there are these little cuties:

The raspberry-ish yarn is from Fleece Artist (the Lu vest kit – also purchased at Madrona) and the “almost too cute to even use” project bag and necklace are from Amy (her Mom makes the bags and Amy make the most darling stitch markers and jewelry – totally adorable). Thank you Amy!!!
And that concludes the disclosure of Madrona goodies. Now, if you will excuse me, I have a sink full of yarn to dye and a vest to finish knitting… happy weekend!

I love new goodies! I’m glad to see you had such a fantastic time. I looooove the vest; I might end up buying the kit myself!

What a great haul! That manos is great, what are you going to make? Cute bag, and that vest is very nice, I can’t see if finished.

nice stash-building; wonderful stuff. But as fellow yarn collector, I need to know: single skeins or. . .quantity? xxs
