In a funk ~ but, just maybe I see the light at the end of the tunnel….

Just looking at the first picture, nothing to be in a funk over, cute ruffle, lovely yarn, fun stripe – but then there is the second picture and it just all goes down the drain, more holes….. I tried a short row heel and well, for my first try, not so bad, but certainly not so good. It will be frogged and I will try again.

Then there is the anklet (or as I prefer to call it, the “pilates” sock) I started, tried on and then realized it was too small – so off to frog that too. Not even worthy of a picture. Ugh!

Next, I decided I better get this little square  knitted – using Manos Cotton Stria in a soft pink and a Rice stitch, it’s turning out very cute. Will be sent off in Monday’s mail.

On the completely self-absorbed, knit for me front,  I  have been wanting to knit a great spring scarf and then this shows up from Liz (seriously so squishy,  the colors are so fun  and delightful, I can hardly stand it!):

Oh, how I love etsy!!!! It is a wealth of artsy and fibery treasures. So, in an all consuming quest for the perfect knitted spring scarf, I cast on for this today:

Have a lovely weekend, I hope you get lot’s of knitting done and who knows, someone may just be the 100th to comment yet this very weekend….. Can’t wait to see who it is!

Short rows are tricky. I love the green with hints of color. It’s so pretty and springy. :)

I can’t get short rows on socks down either….but for other stuff I NEVER get holes. Who knows!

Love the green and pink yarn from etsy–very springy! What is the scarf pattern you are using? You are the scarf guru…

Have you tried knitting into the back of those stitches on the heel? I do that and it makes it a bit tighter over that part…

You do have the best yarn stash. Seriously.
