Because there are times when you just don’t have the time, energy or inclination to knit an entire sweater. Because I have some lovely, darling friends who read these pages and I want to fill them in on fun things too. Because sometimes you just want a cute sweater – now.
Old Navy Seed Stitch Cardigan – Love the detail on the cuff – very feminine, don’t you think?
Old Navy Cowl Neck Sweater – I defy you to show me a person who does not look great in a cowl neck. So flattering.

Okay. They are quite cute!
However, I’m one of the freaks that doesn’t look good in a cowl neck. I’m short, and I guess my neck is short too? I’d never realized it until I tried on a cowl neck, and even my boyfriend gave it the thumbs down. And he thinks I look good in everything.
It succeeded in making 5’3″ me look like a linebacker. True story.

I LOVE the cardigan, but I’m too *ahem* old for cowl necks especially the really droopy, hang-down-the-front ones. They give me severe ’80s flashbacks. Although this one isn’t scaring me too badly!
