For The Life of Me ~
By Sarah | November 9, 2007
I cannot remember ever being this excited about leaving town. We are headed here ~
But not before I go here first. While there I will be meeting up with Amanda and some of her knitty friends from the Phoenix area to have an mini trunk show - so excited!
You may also have noticed that the etsy shop is seriously low on stock. Please note that you can find several colorways of the BFL superwash fingering weight at One Planet Yarn and Fiber and quite a few colorways of merino lace weight at The Loopy Ewe.
Until our return, there may be a bit of radio silence. But, don’t be surpised if there is an update from the road….. and boy, did that new toy come just in time. Imagine all the fantastic photo opportunities that await! And, just you wait and see all the exciting things I have in store for you when I get back to the dye pot. New base yarns, a “back from vacation” sale and new colorways – always, always new colorways.
Until then, I leave you with this:
A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the car, he was astounded to see that the blonde behind the wheel was knitting! Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked own his window, turned on his bullhorn and yelled, “PULL OVER!” “NO!” the blonde yelled back, “IT’S A SCARF!”

I’m not sure where that picture is, but the place looks like it will be good for the soul!
LOL at the joke. My ds came home a couple of weeks ago and told me he saw someone nuttier than I am about knitting. He was sitting at a traffic light when he observed the driver in the car beside him was a woman who was knitting. When the light turned green, she accelerated and moved forward, but continued to knit! He said she kept knitting for at least a block. He could barely watch the road for watching her to see when she was finally going to look up!
Have fun on your trip!

That’s a good one! I remember a really great Inn with a great restaurant right on the stream or river. Ask about it because it was especially lovely for lunch. Jessica Knits looks like a fabulous store.

It was so great meeting you!!!! Thanks for taking time out of your holiday to visit the Mesa knitters. After our day, went to Gelato with my family and showed all the wonderful sock yarn I bought from the trunk. They were impressed as I with your colors.
