A First ~

By | October 16, 2007

My very first  pair of hand knit socks that fit perfectly! And  I did not knit these beauties. The super helpful and talented Mai did (Just one of the many that answered the call for test knitters).

 100%  Merino wool fingering weight

As soon as I can get a picture of them on my own little (ok, big, feet) I will post. Oh. They are divine!

And, small etsy update.

 Doyene – Merino Fingering

 Iris – Merino Fingering

Persian Rug – BFL Superwash

Fall Splendor – BFL Superwash

These and several more in the shop.

Such pretty socks. Do you know what pattern that is? It compliments your yarn beautifully. Love the new skeins too!

The socks are so pretty. I had to download the pattern immediatelly. And I don`t even knit socks. But this pair just might do it and convert me into a sock knitter.

Got to, got to have some persian
rug,in whatever you have. Just
beautiful, and a scarf made from that yarn just may make my gray winter a cheery one. (please upday my email??)

I too am moved by Iris. What would fit into my life/wardrobe even more smoothly would be that yarn in medium and dark browns, and a couple of shades of lavender. Husband Tom bought me a hand-crafted tote in brown and lavender (as the trimming) leather. Would be quite the fashion statement to sport matching scarf and socks. So, Sarah, may I commission?
