Bottom of the Barrel ~
By Sarah | September 25, 2007
Small etsy update. I am officially out of sportweight (those cute booties with the fun buttons from the other day…. knit in the sport weight) base yarn at the moment. But, I will be getting more in very soon.
Anyway, it’s raining and nasty outside – so I thought I would do a small update. Enjoy.
Pemberley Dress – BFL Suri Alpaca
Wuthering Heights – Sport Weight
Blueberry Queen – Merino Superwash Fingering Weight

You are so evil. What is a girl to do with so much temptation taunting me???

Hi Sarah,
I guess I missed the heavier yarn. What size needle do you use for your sport weight yarns? The colors you made are fabulous.

Sorry it was a nasty day…it was nice in B.C. where I work. But nonetheless what a fun way to spend it…with yarn. I like the sound of Pemberley and Blueberry Queen. Of course we all love Wuthering Heights!
Miss you tons! How’s S & B?

Well, my first thought was to send you a proper e-mail, but then I thought better. . .
I WANT EVERYONE TO SEE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY.
And what I have to say is this. Today, two skeins of Plucky Knitter merino–the same variety (different colors) used in the thin scarf one post down–were found nestled in my mailbox. I opened the envelope right there and when the sun shone on my new yarn I was certain: these are now the prizes of my nice-size stash. Oh, the way the colors dance and sing “knit me into something very special because this is yarn deserving of seriously special stitches.”Thanks, Sarah
