Words To Live By, A Sock and Help Wanted ~
By Sarah | August 6, 2007
Chocolate: Good for so many things. But who knew opening up a little piece of Dove Dark Chocolate Miniatures (with their PROMISES Message on the wrapper) could help put all manner of random, maddening, stressful, frustrating and mind boggling situations and things in perspective? So, I’ve decided that from now on I’ll do my best to address or remedy any such situtations and then I promise to ”Not Think About It So Much.” Words to live by, don’t you think? And, imagine all the energy to be saved? May sound simple, but more often than not, I find simple is best.
Second: What’s that? Yep, a Charade in Plucky Knitteryarn – the 80/20 merino cashmere blend. I love how this is turning out. I know I have said it before, but boy is that a great sock pattern. And, I am embarrassed to say how giddy it is making me working with my very own yarn. Can you believe it? No pooling! I mean, I was planning it that way, but you never know until you knit it up.
Help Wanted~
Pictures needed. I’ve been thinking about a ”Customer Gallery of Knits” on the site. What great fun and inspiration to see what is becoming of all of the Plucky yarn, what you are making with it and how it is working for you…… (Well, I know I think it would be fun and, yes, I know, I am biased). If you would you be willing to contribute a photo of your knits I would be so appreciative – thank you in advance for your help. You guys are the best!
And now I leave you with a bit of eye candy – courtesy Plucky Girl.
Charcoal drawing - and she told me she couldn’t draw!

I think that’s good advise for everyone. I think I needed to hear it too. I really like that colorway. It’s very pretty, especially in that pattern.

The yarn/socks look fab, girl! Another sock pattern I’ll have to knit in my spare time.
Of course you are welcome to include my stuff in your gallery. I’d love to share my “Plucky Love”.
By the way my latest Plucky stash enhancement is, as always, to die for!!!!!

Wow, I’m loving the way your socks are knitting up! I just started a pair of Charades myself, and it is a cool, clever pattern. I will be sure to send you some pictures of my PK knits, once I get them finished.

I think a gallery is a great idea. I have one for the Mandy’s Candy Bag and think it adds a nice touch.
