Have you seen some of the preview for the Fall 2007 Interweave? Pictures are starting to pop up and I am very intrigued and wanting to knit them all (I can dream, can’t I?):
Minimalist Cardigan – Simple and lovely (although I do wonder what the front looks like). For some reason a cardigan doesn’t intimiated me as much as a pull-over does.
Placed Cable Aran – I would love to make this, but I am very intimidated. Will it fit? Will I get bored with it (not likely as it looks rather interesting)? Will I have time? How do you decide if it is worth the time and monetary investment? Do you just jump and start knitting and hope for the best?
Honeycomb Socks – These will be knit – just the type of run about the house socks that I love.
Composed Mitts – Just admiring how pretty they are.
Time flies – this week I will be making my 100th post. I think this calls for a contest, don’t you? So, there you have it. A contest this week. Check back for details.
And, just becauce it’s been a while since I’ve posted a pic of Sam. What a face….

How do you decide if it is worth the time and monetary investment? Do you just jump and start knitting and hope for the best?
When I pick something to knit, it is based on whether or not I like it. Then I find the perfect yarn and jump right in.
I always hope for the best and I love a challenge.

I agree with Edith, if you love it jump in! BTW, Amber and I would love for you to teach us to knit handwarmers for fall. The pic of Sam is so cute and just a really cool picture, was that S?

Sammy is so kissable.
I can’t tell you how many sweaters I’ve bought yarn for and cast on for… only to decide I was bored or I had the size all wrong. Sounds dishearteng but I think it’s the only way I could have narrowed down what I AM willing to fork over the cash for and spend a big chunk o’ time on. I say dive in, it’s not that horrible to cut your losses and frog.
