Your eyes do not deceive you ~

Yep, that’s a finished sock. But, please, don’t hold your breath for an actual pair to be completed anytime soon. Really, all I was looking for was a simple, no brainer knit. I didn’t even have to choose the yarn for this project – just picked up something that had been languishing….Anyway – it’s done. Kitchener’d the toe and everything.
Also knitting yet another baby hat. Lot’s O’ little baby heads to knit for lately. This one is headed to a wee little gal who shall remain nameless until given to her mama. Pompon Beret by Debbie Bliss. Modificiations: Knit in the round – why seam when you can knit in the round? Yarn is Manos Cotton Stria knit on size 7 circulars.
What’s next on the needles?
400 yards of the softest most lovely 2-ply cashmere I have ever come in contact with. Since last winter I have wanted to knit this. If all goes well with the yarn (as I expect it to) this cashmere will soon be available in the Plucky Knitter shop. Yarn: Plucky Knitter yarn – Handyed by yours truly. Color: Blue (I’ll come up with a catchier name later).
Also, updated the etsy shop with lots of fun yarns. Some silk/merino lace and lots more fingering.
Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Yeah for you for finishing a sock. I like how it’s shorter, also it doesn’t take as long to knit. Cool color. That baby hat is too cute, it kinda looks like a little dessert. That blue cashmere looks incredibly soft. How’ve you been?

OH! A finished sock. I LOVE that yarn…Vesper? LOVE.
And that hat is darling. OMG! Is that pink and chocolate? SWOON!
I can’t wait to see that cowl knit up…you and your “thing” for neck warming.
Miss you. Mwah.

Glad you’re finally able to get some knitting time for yourself.

Love. That. Hat! And who need matching socks? I like Dobby’s (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) way of wearing mismatching socks.
Oh yes, hats on circs is great!

That’s a great sock for summer, and the cashmere yarn is to die for. I’ve been wanting to knit one of those cashmere cowls myself. Enjoy!

Pretty sock! And beautiful cashmere yarn. One day I hope to get my hands on some thing as luxurious as cashmere.
