My first attempt at homemade chicken soup. Very loosely based on this recipe with just a few modifications (let the stock sit over night so as to skim off the fat, added fresh rosemary, no-yolk noodles and a little bit of fresh cabbage) and I must say, I would totally make this again.

I love cabbage in soup. Why do I alway forget that? Now to go hunt a soup recipe.

Just wanted to say a huge thankyou for the gorgeous avery kit I recieved for winning your last giveaway. The yarn is BEAUTIFUL! I’ve had to hide it away from myself to stop me from casting on before finishing the christmas backlog – thankyou so much!

Love the new repeatables!
I love using greens of some type in my soups. You might want to consider substituting escarole for the cabbage. The flavor blends wonderfully with poulty.
