Meet Doris – isn’t she lovely? Now, before you laugh, point and make fun of me – I know full well that it is very weird to name your accessories. Why, you ask, did she name that bag Doris? Well, doesn’t it just scream Pillow Talk or Touch of Mink? Something Doris Day herself would have carried in one of those movies. I am a serious push-over for anything retro/vintage-ish. Just has so much personality and it looks happy and, as an added bonus, it will hold all the “stuff” that I insist on toting around everyday, plus a knitting project. So, since the bag will be with me everyday from now until the leaves drop in the fall – I thought we should be on a first name basis.

Just a little something random for this Wednesday. Not much new in the knitting arena - but I have been diligently kitting away on Rosie, having just finished the heel flap today. Tomorrow the gusset.
Then, Friday Shelbie (the plucky daughter) and I get to see Billy!

i get fiber wholesale, let me know if you need anything. the superwash sockyarns and merino is fantastic to dye because you can’t felt it or mess it up. well, maybe you COULD but you would have to REALLY try.
