First soon-to-be-finished-object of 2010 – Sock Head Hat – Wannabe Handspun
Can I just say…. I’m SO going to knit more in 2010 (and I can so blog more than I have been too!). Yes I am. As I looked back at my projects for the year (there are a couple I did not manage to get into my Ravelry notebook but even with those it’s still an embarrassingly low number) I’ve decided I’m disappointed and need to work on my finished objects. Not that it’s all about the number of finished objects, but there are so many great patterns I have yet to attempt. And, don’t even get me started on the techniques I’d love to master. So, bring on the socks (completed pairs, thank you), sweaters with different construction(s) than I’m use to, more lace work and maybe even some color work.
Speaking of Ravelry, the lovely ladies of the Plucky Group have some great ideas for project organization which can only help the cause. Thanks ladies!

i LOVE the sockhead pattern! so cute, but man, that’s a lot of stockinette in fingering weight yarn! i just cast on for a baby sweater with some of your MCN worsted weight yarn. YAY!
