The Blizzard Made Me Do It ~

By | December 13, 2009

Scene outside Thursday morning. What’s a gal to do when the blizzard warning had been extended? Stay inside and knit until her hand is formed into a claw, that’s what.

Eternity Scarf – Wow is this cozy!  And so versatile – can be worn long and loose or wound up twice about the neck (which is my preferred way to wear).

There’s a new base yarn in the Plucky Knitter arsenal, a single ply Merino/Alpaca/Silk blend that I’ve just introduced in the last couple weeks and I tell you it is not to be believed. The softness and drape are fantastic. I now want a wardrobe and duvet cover made of this very yarn. Won’t ever happen, but a girl can dream.

Raveled

It’s a quick knit and would make a great gift – very much appreciated by those with cold necks this time of year!
